Loved the unique look at life love and death

Took a while to get an idea where the character was going BUT along the way I found myself loving the guy more and more. Some absolute gems in this book that make you think twice about progress and society and how we will be able to actually manage if technology ever lets us down, All the way through the book you are reminded of a grandad a father or uncle all of which had there own quips and isms that made you chuckle, The dry sense of humour throughout is unique and quite true in kost of his rants, A change to my normal genre of book but a change im very glad I made, the book was very easy to read and once into the first few chapters I read it very quickly needing to know the fate of him and his family
