Unfortunately, this book wasn’t for me. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and I just felt like, for a short-ish book, it was pretty long winded.
What did keep me reading was pretty much to find out how it was all going to end. I did also like the writing style but I felt like the character development could have been much better.
The cover initially grabbed my attention and from what I read on the sample, it did sound like it was going to be a decent read.
A few of my friends that have read it have said how much they enjoyed it but unfortunately we can’t all like the same books.
Many readers have compared this book to A man called Ove, I can’t really comment there, having never read Ove but I think if it’s being compared, I think I’ll avoid Ove.
