it drew me straight in as this is the kind of book I enjoy reading. One that is full of twists and turns.
I need to know why 12 years ago Flora and Beth decided to no longer talk and why no one else knows why.
I was surprised that Beth went to her family and told them in chapter 2 as I thought she was going to keep it to herself as it brings up questions as why they are no longer friends.
I really like that after only 2 chapters I am drawn in and I have a list of questions I want answering. It makes me want to read on.
I like the front cover as it goes with the title of the book. I also like the idea of wanting privacy so you have a wall up yet people can still see in (top window with no curtains drawn)
I haven’t read anything my Sophie Hannah but I will definitely be adding her to my “authors to read and follow” list.
