Okay, I'll buy in to the fact that you may casually look up a former friend after 12 years in a moment of "Oh, I wonder what happened to". What I don't buy is the obvious obsession with Fiona and Lewis Braid - if the break up of the friendship was as traumatic as suggested then the near stalkerish behaviour being exhibited here feels very peculiar. To be honest, it is so off piste that it is making me roll my eyes as I read.
I know it's just a device to suck you in to the bizarre premise of non-aging children that may, or may not, have been spotted whilst stalking. I'm just not sure I'm really interested enough to find out.
