This book is told from the perspective of Beth, who one day drives past her ex-friends house who she hasn't seen for 12 years and thinks she sees her and her children, who haven't aged since she last saw them. The story follows how Beth tries to find out the truth about where Flora and Lewis are, and why their children Thomas and Emily look exactly as they did 12 years ago.
Wow! I loved reading this book, its easily one of my favourite thrillers I've read! The plot was so well thought out, giving the reader hints of what was going on through the perspective of the main character who was trying to figure out the truth herself. I liked how a lot of the main reveals or theories were given at the end of each chapter as it made me want to read on! I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys thrillers and suspense in a book! ill definitely be reading more of Sophie Hannah's work in the future!
