Easy read yet thrilling
"Haven't They Grown" is a thriller of high proportions with twists you don't see coming. There were several parts in the book that left me with my mouth agape and it was a really intriguing read over the cold winter; the type of book you tell yourself "just one more chapter", then find it's 2am.
The determination with which the main character pursues her concerns seem a little unbelievable at first, but then you ask yourself - wouldn't I do that for my best friend, too? And then you are nodding along, understanding her moves, watching her untwist the turns, all the way to the shocking conclusion and explanation.
It's a hugely enjoyable read, and one that stays with you when you close the book. One you find yourself thinking about late at night, almost in a "well what happened next?" demand to the universe. This is bound to capture readers across many genres this year and for years to come.
