I have read and enjoyed several Sophie Hannah books so was very keen to read this one. Beth and Flora were very good friends until twelve years ago when the friendship suddenly ended. Beth doesn't really know why so when she realises her son's football game is taking place near Flora's new home she cannot resist going to look at it after dropping him off. As she suspected it is very grand and in a very private area. She is not prepared for Flora to return with her two children still looking exactly as they did twelve years before. Beth becomes obsessed with finding out what has happened and despite her husband urging her to leave it alone she is convinced Flora is in danger and will not stop searching for the answer.
