When I read the first part of the book on readers first I was so intrigued and excited to read the rest. When I got the book I was excited and started straight away. I couldn’t put it down but about half way through I felt the book was very repetitive, it could have been over a lot sooner than it was.
I found Beth a very complex character and at times I loved her and others I hated her. It all started when she was taking her son to a football match and stopped at a friends old house but she swears her friend still lives there with her children who have never aged.
I felt the story was a great but long winded, it lost me in the middle and I was just waiting for it to hurry to then end. Then at the end I was once again hooked and thoroughly enjoyed it.
