I loved everything about this book from the plot to the characters to the subtle twists and hints that Sophie Hannah cleverly weaves into her work.
As soon as I read the first impression, I was completely hooked and I was so excited when I was able to read it early. I loved Beth and the way that she talked about her family - she was written in such a way that I feel like I know her, which is quite rare!
I also thought that the idea behind this book was really clever - taking a commonly spoken phrase and turning it on its head. I really enjoy books that give the reader a seemingly impossible situation and manage to make sense of it. That concept gripped me right from the start, and I ended up finishing it only about three days after it arrived because it was impossible to put down!
Overall, I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a mystery and trying to 'explain the unexplainable'. An excellent read.
