A captivating and twisted tale of a woman who sees her best friend after 12 years apart, with children who haven’t aged a single day since. The premise alone is intriguing enough and the whole book is ‘unputdownable’. We are faced with a main character who cannot simply ignore and forget what she had seen, and naturally becomes obsessed in her pursuit of the truth. While rationally the lengths that she went to may have been a little much, you couldn’t help but root for her. As a reader, you become just as engrossed with the need to know what the truth is - and it’s definitely not what you think. Throughout the whole book my mind was reeling with multiple theories and ideas, and I couldn’t have been more surprised with the end result. It’s a must read!
