This book is sooooo amazing. It was so enjoyable and the build up and tension were so great to read. I whizzed through this book in no time! I practically read the whole thing in two days. It was THAT freaking good. It focuses on Beth, a mother of two, who is looking at her old friend’s house and suddenly her friend drives up to the house. However, she looks distraught and is crying; she starts saying weird things and then gets her, teenage children, out of her car. But something is so clearly off, the children look exactly as they once did 12 years ago. They wear the same clothes and everything. Through this book, we follow Beth becoming obsessed with this and trying to find out what is wrong. The reason actually makes sense and it’s not something weird and out of this world. I really loved the book, and I would highly recommend the book to everyone.
