I thought this book sounded amazing when I first read the blurb, and thought it may have a ghostly or supernatural quality to it, however I was wrong and there was actually a sensible explanation to why the children hadn’t aged. I liked this book as it kept me gripped and the style of writing was very good, however I was slightly disappointed when the twist was revealed as I wanted there to be so much more to it! As I said, I thought there would be a supernatural element to the twist the way that it was described but when it was revealed it was just a bit normal and quite predictable. I think the story was building up to something amazing which is why it kept me so gripped however although the twist was ok, it was not anything amazing. I will however look out for more from this author because I did enjoy it overall, I just thought there could be more to it.
