I had heard good things about this book before I got hold of a copy and I was NOT disappointed!
The style of writing was casual and easy to read. There were complex ideas and mysterious happenings running through the story, but all were easy to follow.
The characters were relatable and I immediately felt as though I knew the ins and outs of Beth and Dom's family, as well as Flora and Lewis's. It had the same kind of comfort as watching a well loved soap!
When it became apparent that all was not as it seemed in the Braid household, I had numerous theories. I enjoyed using the snippets of clues to develop these, but none of them came close to what actually going on!
Crime, deceit, really strange life choices!
I've never read anything by this author before, but I will definitely be keeping an eye out for books by her in the future! I very much enjoyed this one!
