I love Sophie Hannah, she is a brilliant author, but she is an acquired taste as her writing is a little bit out there. This book is no different; I was firstly drawn in by the author as I have read many of her books, but secondly I was drawn in by the blurb because my goodness this one just sounds INSANE!
I really enjoyed this one and it definitely got my brain working. As an avid thriller reader it takes quite a lot to shock or wow me when it comes to big twists but this one was extremely clever and original. A little unrealistic and crazy but I have learnt to expect that from Sophie Hannah now and it was just completely addictive.
Each chapter I read just blew my mind and I had no idea what was going on...there were moments I thought I had guessed it and then Hannah blew my theory out of the water.
It is probably best to go into this one completely blind, it will play with your instincts and emotions and give you shivers down your spine. It is both creepy and entertaining. It is one of those books that you just can't put down because you HAVE to know the ending!
