When I saw the cover of this book I was rather uninspired, such bland colours. However I loved it!

When Josephine escapes her home in Ireland, I was with her every step of the way- hoping she’d find a better life in London. Unfortunately, was with many troubled children this wasn’t meant to be.

I loved the plot twists and turns. Her having two children of her own and moving on was obviously not the end of the story.

The mother being ill and the family rallying round was never going to end well.

As family secrets can't stay buried forever I knew, as a reader and an observer of life, things wouldn’t turn out as planned.

The joy of sitting down and reading a good book should be shared and celebrated- which is why I suggest this book to everyone.
