Well where to start? I love the cover of this book it’s simple yet endearing! Hey the book is beautifully written, but it is a very emotional read.
I couldn’t make my mind up on whether I liked certain characters or not, Josephine is the way she is due to events that happened during her childhood and adults not taking her seriously! Her attitude and ways rub off on her children especially Clare. Clare is left guessing how her mum is going to be on a day to day basis which as a parent I find incredibly heart breaking! Michael Sounds like an incredible husband/ Dad he’s there to pick up the pieces, make the children feel safe and secure. The only down side to this book is I didn’t like the ending, I feel it could have gone a little deeper and maybe given the reactions of the family.
