I looked forward to reading this book when I read the blurb and I wasn’t disappointed. It was an east head with the chapters not being too long and easy to capture whom each chapter was about and the time period.
This family had a secret and I expected it to be abuse but the story didn’t focus on that inly, it was about the family dynamics and the impact that the abuse had on them all, and it focussed in the different generations and how families kept secrets and not knowing the whole truth.
I actually read this book in one day and felt that it was a nice story albeit the abuse but this didn’t take over the storyline, well written, easy to follow and nice short chapters always helps me enjoy a book.
