After reading the opening section I wasn't sure what to expect or where the storyline would be going when it came to reading the full book. I was pleasantly surprised, I really enjoyed it and was hooked.
The story was about Josephine and her daughter Clare. Josephine will be returning home to Ireland after 17 years when her mother is dying. We discover why she fled all those years before and the effect it has had on her, despite the fact that she appears to have the perfect life, a husband and two children.
Her daughter Clare is excited for the summer holidays and to be meeting her grandparents she hasn't met before. However, will it put an end to her mum's darkness.
