An immediately engaging start to the second story in this series.

When I saw that this week, after weeks of 'drought', there are two books on offer which I would love to read, I was reminded of the saying about buses ... that you can wait for hours then two arrive at the same time! I just wish I'd been allowed to (rather greedily) claimed both with all the points I have accumulated, particularly as I'd really enjoyed the first book in this series. It's clear from the early chapters that Rhian Tracey's second story for younger readers is likely to be just as appealing, and educational, as the previous one was. One of the things I admire most about this author is that she is able to make her writing-style age-appropriate without being in any way condescending.
I (reluctantly!) accept that I won't win a copy of this very appealing book in the draw so I'll just have to wait until it's available in my local bookshop!
