Have to say I was a bit sceptical about this but I was intrigued by the cover as it was reminiscent of the Famous 5. I suppose that may be the point as I can see the story unfolding with the children being the main characters. I absolutely loved the author's descriptive language of the scenery in Wales, and I felt as if I was up that cold mountain and in the bleak country side.
