Although a kid's book, this was written so well that I feel totally invested in the story and can't wait to read more.
Ned and his mother are heading to 'another country' (Wales) to help with the war effort much to Med's father's annoyance, and we are given a charming introduction to the village and some of the characters I imagine will be integral to the story.
