My son is into these novels so was glad to win this one and I have to say it was a great read.
Ned lives at Bletchely park but now he and his mother have to move to Wales.
She is engaged in a secret mission to aid the war effort.
She and Ned go to Manod a little quarry village where she works secreting precious works of art to safety until the war is over.
But when news breaks of what they are doing they don't know who has revealed their real reason for being there.
They are soon blamed as newcomers for bringing danger to the village and it's people.
They need to prove their innocence but meanwhile they are commissioned with having to take a piece of art to a showing in London.
Ned comes to the rescue and offers to go with his friend to deliver it but can they succeed?
This was a fast paced and exciting read.
