This children's novel was incredibly well written. The story was easy to read and interesting throughout. The character's were well written and likable. The story was loosely based on true facts and even had a section at the back of the book with true fact's about how Britain saved it's art work during the second World War. This novel had the right amount of information and fact's in the story without it becoming a book of fact's. The story line was fantastic and had lot's of adventure in as well as what everyday life would have been like in the second World War. I would definitely read novel's from this author again and I am looking for a copy of this author's first novel to read. I would definitely recommend this novel and this author to young reader's especially those who like adventure or learning about history. An excellent novel for young reader's
