Hide and Seek - the second story in Bletchley Park Mysteries by Rhian Tracey. This book, set in 1942, follows Ned and his mother who move away from Bletchley and move to Wales to do a very special job in keeping the nation's art works safe during the war inside a mountain.

We also meet locals, Mrs Thomas a visually impaired lady with her guide dog Kip and her son Harri who take them in along with Anni a young Jewish refugee who's parents have been put in an internment camp. Some of the locals are worried their work in the area will place them in danger as it is leaked to a Liverpool newspaper that something is going on but no real details are given away. Neds mum has a special task to take a painting to London each month to display in the National Gallery and there is a lunchtime concert to entertain people and lift their mood.

Neds mum going missing on one of the trips and Ned and Harri have to take a painting, hidden in Kips guide dog coat, to make sure the concert goes ahead and she does not get into trouble. Lots happens on the way and Robyn from I spy 1st book helps out too.

A fun book that brings history to life and I hope there are more to come.
