A different type of book for me
This is not the type of book i would normally pick up but I'm pleased I got to read the first bit here!
A very well written, funny book, with quotes like: "Threatening to kill things is how you get a human being’s attention, and your attention is something Hollywood wants very badly. " The book calls itself a self-help book, by looking at the ways that Hollywood approaches death through Predator attacks, Nuclear Armageddon, and Climate Change to name just three sections in this fascinating book.
Apparently being reminded that one day we'll all die, makes us behave better towards each other while we're still alive - this can only be a good thing, and I'm quite keen to find out more!
