Trying too hard
The concept of the book is great. The front cover caught my eye but in true honesty I would have bypassed it thinking it was going to be geeky and factual.
My first impression is exactly the same. Geeky and factual. Subtly hidden amongst all the facts are some references to ‘Hollywood’ films and actors but in reality it was just about viruses.
They seemed to have broken down the flu or Ebola but not really how Hollywood is trying to kill me. Maybe that’s what I found out if I read it more.
Honestly seems like it’s trying too hard to be funny.
