I've always enjoyed Susan Lewis's story-telling and my first impression of her latest novel is that she isn't going to disappoint me with this one! The bond between a mother and her children is a strong one, but how easy is it to maintain this when the actions of one of those children leads to the murder of your husband? This author's ability to capture the psychdynamics of fractured families makes me sure that however Angie's story is resolved, the "journey" will be both very complex and credible - I hope I'll be lucky enough to be given the chance to find out!
