This was really gripping from the very first page. The author writes with a sense of urgency which really expressed the violence and anger of Steve as he looks for his son on the estate.
The description of Angie's descent into poverty following Steve's death just drips of desperation and you can't help but feel what she is feeling.
I'm looking forward to reading more and I truly hope Angie is able to pick herself up.
