I was first drawn to the writing style of this author, such as the adjectives used by her which enhance the reading experience. Moreover, I like the idea that the novel starts with dialogue, as that makes it engaging, allowing the reader to build a relationship with the characters. I also like the animal imagery, such as 'he roared' and 'young woman hissed', which is a good description for the characters as I could associate them with a particular animal.
