The cover drew me in initially but it was the first few pages that made me read on. This story of Angie, her tragic past and her fractured family is so well written that I felt I knew her. The story will have echoes for many readers, struggling with bills and with holding a family together as a single parent. I want a happy ending for Angie...I hope she gets one.
