I'm intrigued by this book as I feel the cover eludes to a very docile family lifestyle and the blurb immediately subverts that. The perspective that the narrative is written from is also interesting, as in crime novels a more immediate relationship to the crime is normally explored, or that of a detective, so this novel presents a fresh viewpoint for the genre.
