I think the cover for this one is quite generic but the synopsis sounded okay so I gave the first few chapters a try. I thought it started quite well and I was intrigued around what had happened to this family but then it started to get quite long-winded and while I felt for the family I found I didn't particularly get invested in what the narrative had to offer.
