The synopsis of this book sounded interesting and all too real in today’s world so I was looking forward to seeing what this peek would offer.
That initial opening prologue was so terrifying and heartbreaking and I really felt for a parent in obvious pain.
The first couple of chapters I got to read though were a little too slow paced for my liking. I appreciate then need to give some back story and to set the scene but I felt this was a little too slow. However that is just my personal preference.
