I have read and enjoyed many Susan Lewis books before, and so was excited to see she had a new one out.

What a brutal, vicious start to the book. Susan Lewis throws the reader straight into the action from the very first page.
Angie’s life is turned upside down- from the idyllic home life with her husband and three children to finding herself grieving and homeless. Just like the many luckless people that she works so hard to help.

This one is a family based tale, following Angie as she struggles to cope following the murder of her husband and the disappearance of her son. It also carries a very strong social message, about the problems of debt, and how quickly things can spiral out of control, due in the main to the introduction of universal credit.

I cannot wait to read the whole book!
