I had never read Susan Lewis before but what have I been missing?!
From the first page I was completely hooked and struggled to put this down.
Angie has the perfect life, the perfect family- but not in a cliched way; they aren't perfect, but they are to one another. This book shows how quickly, how badly, someone's life can fall into a downward spiral with no seeming way out. Angie is a very real character; her relationships with others are believable. This is a book about love. Her sister Emma has it hard too, but they both care and try so hard. I had tears flowing freely when teenage Grace got involved in a dodgy get rich quick scam - though her relationship with bff Lois was heartwarming.
I was so relieved at the end when things started to look up.
Loved it and can't recommend it enough!
