Disappointing
This is the first Susan Lewis I have ever read and I was so excited about it as I had heard such good things.
I was so so disappointed.
Although the writing style was good - I really did not enjoy the story at all.
Firstly I hated the fact the Steve died so early on in the book - and also that the son Liam allowed this to happen when he was stood watching it with the gang that murdered him.
I found the whole situation with Angie troubling and not nice to read about. I liked the fact that in the end it all comes good and she ends up having her house back but the emotional anxiety of this book was not nice and I really disliked it.
I also hated the fact that the landlord of this was so conniving and obviously knew that Angie had inherited the house back when the will was read.
Not something I will be re-reading. And has slightly put me off any more of her books. Such a shame.
