I had never read a Susan Lewis book before, and after seeing so many reviews about how great she is I was very excited to get stuck into this book! I was immediately drawn to this book, I love the front cover and title and the blurb was very captivating! The opening chapter grabbed me straight away and had me desperate to know more!
This is a very raw and real story that shows just how fast your seemingly perfect life can fall apart, and the lengths a person will go to to build their world back up again and protect their family! It was a heartbreaking and dark story and at times difficult to read but I’m glad I persevered with it! I enjoyed the writing style and the different perspectives! I will definitely be giving this author another go!
