'Home Truths' is about a mother fighting to keep her family together, after a family tragedy resulting in the murder of her beloved husband Steve, and the worries over her troubled son, Liam. Throughout the book, it's written from Angie's view and her daughter Graces, both at times Reminiscing over times fond memories with Steve/her dad, and how it used to be. Both trying to find ideas just to financially keep their heads above water. Throughout the book, the family as a whole go on an emotional roller coaster of life, it has its ups and its very lows. Very worrying times for Angie, both financially and with her children/family. What would you do if your family was falling apart?
This book was well written, I've read books by Susan Lewis before and this one is definitely worth a read.
