This book started well and pulled me with needing to know more and how the circumstances of the family came to be, but I found it got slow in the middle and felt that it lost some of its spark.
I feel that it ending in a typical way as many others but I also feel that there is a lot of unanswered questions about the characters.
I liked the chapters being quick and easy reading as I like to stop my reading for the day at the end of chapters, but I just feel that the middle could have been used to tell more about flash backing to why they were where they were. Feel that the ending should have been in the middle and then gone into more about what happened to the others
