I loved this book. It was the first book that I have ever read by Susan Lewis, and I was not disappointed. I will certainly be grabbing more of her books in the future.
This book is full of twists and turns and it had me hooked from start to finish. The story begins tragically when Angie Watts' husband is brutally murdered and it shows you how quickly family life can change and that we should never take anything for granted.
There are also lots of issues in the book such as homelessness, grief, and debt, and you really feel for the characters. Angie is a really likeable character and it's heartbreaking what her and her children go through.
