I've never read this author before and when I saw the cover I had to dive in especially after seeing shattering floral plates!
The writing style is descriptive, face paced and realistic to the point that I felt like the family were my neighbours. This kept me hooked and wanted more and more.
Anggie is central to the story, throughout time you discover her relationships. I actually found this book thought provoking. Her husband and his emotions were very touching to myself.
As a reader,contemporary fiction is my favourite genre however I feel like there's a bit of everything in this book.
I will read be reading Susan's books in the near future.
