After reading the premise and then the first look , I expected it to be a good thrilling read that would have me gripped. But it's not a thriller at all,like I expected it to be , it's much more a family drama. And that's fine, because family dramas can be interesting to read too and have lots to them. But this one just didn't grab me at all. I didn't find any of the characters likeable , so for me I wasn't able to connect with them or care about what was happening to them. This was my first read by this author and while it hasn't made me want to rush out and get any others , I do appreciate the writing of it , and I see they have a lot of books out so are clearly popular , which is great. But just for me personally it wasn't my cup of tea , and wasn't what I was expecting. Would recommend for family drama fans though!
