From the excerpt I read i was extremely excited to have won a copy of the book, however I was a little disappointed.
I felt the introduction jumped about a bit but was happy to persevere as I was keen to know what happened. However, I was bored for the first third of the book and felt to the point Angie lost the house could have been much more concise.
From then on the story bloomed and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the book. Angie was a likeable character in a situation any one of us could find themselves in. The issues covered certainly highlight today's problems faced by many working families.
In summary a good story line but would have preferred less at the beginning and more towards the end.
