The first thing I really like about this book is the cover, it doesn’t give Anything away, which I love, Makes it more intriguing and has a sense of mystery right from the start. I love the colours and I love the symbolic meaning behind the shattered plate.
I really enjoyed this book from the start. I loved that the chapters were short which helped to keep the momentum flowing.
I really felt that her development of the characters was excellent, I really felt like I knew them by the end. My favourite was definitely Grace.
I loved the way Susan Lewis delicately approaches the subject of lose and what it really means to be family and everything else that comes along with it.
This was my first Susan Lewis read and I look forward to reading more.
