Having read the first look I really expected this to be a brilliant book and I was very interested in the storyline and how it was going to unfold.
However, this is sadly just not my thing. I felt it lacked substance and was almost boring for two thirds of the book due to being so slow. The plot did not develop and it took a very long time to move onwards. It was really quite tedious until the last 20% of the book. I did consider not finishing it because I struggled and it just didn’t grab my attention or keep me interested.
Nice, if predictable, ending but a really disappointing read for me.
I am however truly grateful to Readers First for sending me an advanced copy to read and review. I just like something a bit more detailed and gripping.
