‘What are you reading there? O I read Susan Lewis a lot. Can I have it after you?’ These words instantly filled me with dread as I realized this was a woman’s book.
Real men like me would never be seen reading this.
However I started so I finished as someone on TV once said.
And it was an interesting story if not one I would normally read.
I have always said that as you drive along life’s road you never know what’s round the very next bend.
And so this proved.
Angie was living life well and enjoying it. And in a flash it’s all turned on it’s head.
Life is a nightmare with debt taking over every moment of her day and night.
Even the topical subject of Universal Credit is listed as being one of the bad boys.
This was all intriguing but spoilt at the end by a woman’s book finish!!
I won’t go into this but it was all to convenient to be credible.
Think I will stick to books for real men!!
