First off I would love to say that this book cover is stunning and captured my attention. Then you have the setting which is Africa, a continent that I need to read more from and this book would definitely allow me to do that.
The characters in the book also seem great and I really want to see how their story progresses throughout. We get glimpses of where their stories would head and this is something that I would love to know.
Although a small thing, the chapters are also quite small which makes it easy to read and get through quickly which I really love.
The book definitely has a different dynamic to it which makes Shamiso's journey through the book an interesting one to read. I want to see how this does change throughout the story.
The writing is also incredibly readable and I can imagine that this is a book that I would get through quickly and really enjoy!
