While I couldn't honestly say that I would add this to my list of top favourite books I've ever read, it was a great book. Apart from being a quick, easy read, it was insightful, thought-provoking and well-developed. It explores the idea of hope in its many forms, and also the loss and grief that is at the opposite end - and can sometimes be united with - hope. I am not afraid to hold up my hands and say that I underestimated this book - it is actually a beautiful read that I would recommend to all my friends. I do think maybe the cover didn't help with forming my initial impression of the book, as its not particularly the style of YA books that tend to catch my eye, but other than that, there is nothing I would change about this book.
