This book follows the story of Shamiso who’s father is killed in an accident. However he was a journalist about to publish a story which would tell the truth about the ministers devious actions that had brought issues for the whole country. Shamiso has to go to boarding school where she makes a friend who has cancer and is scared to get too close as she is still recovering from the pain of losing her father. The truth eventually comes about the minister. The book didn’t take me very long at all to read in fact I read it in an evening. The chapters are very short and the storyline is very straight forward. It filled some time but it’s not one that had me gripped. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and sadly, it’s not one I’d recommend or pick up again.
