This is not my sort of book. Im not the type of person to read things that are emotional and about people with illnesses but this book was really well written and gave several points of view for each of the characters. I got this as part of a book subscription that I have with my sister. We have a pact where we have agreed to read every single book whether its to our taste or not and this is certainly not something I would have purchased myself. It was such a refreshing change from the suspense, thrillers and romance books I have read in the past. I tend to also sick to stories based in England because I find it easier to relate to the characters but this was completely different. It gave a little bit of perspective on how things are done in other countries when it comes to health care and schooling too so it was a bit of an eye opener. I felt sad for the main character and her friend and found my self tearing up reading it. It really is worth a read but I probably wouldn't read it again!
